Cimarrón, a group brought to the Festival brought by Smithsonian Folkways, performs a track from their newest CD, ¡Cimarrón!. The track is called "El Guate" which translates to "The Outsider". It is about feeling like you do not belong and proving to others that you know as much as they do even if you do not come from the same place.
