Dylan Lizza Quartet

Guitarist Dylan Lizza leads a band featuring four of the most exciting young musicians in the D.C. jazz scene. With Caleb Johnson on piano, Norman Moody on bass, and Dammy Awoseye on drums, the group performs repertoire ranging from 1940s bebop to original compositions. The Dylan Lizza Quartet’s effortless chemistry and inspiring improvisation deliver a unique take on the vital American art form of jazz.

Jazmín Morales

Named one of Musical America’s Top Movers and Shakers in the Performing Arts, Jazmín Morales is a violinist, activist, and administrator dedicated to helping young artists use their gifts to enact meaningful change in the world. A classically trained violinist who also grew up playing mariachi and other regional Mexican music, Morales has spent her life and career navigating the space between classical and folk art traditions and acting as a cultural translator between these worlds.

Cassandra Quayson

Cassandra Quayson is a Ghanaian American writer and graduate of the New York University MFA Program in Creative Writing, where she was a Goldwater Fellow. She is a writing consultant at Columbia University’s School of Social Work, 2024–25 Poetry Coalition Fellow, and the Network Manager of the National Youth Poet Laureate Program. A finalist for the 2025 FSG Writers’ Fellowship, her work is informed by love, abolition, and her studies in sociolinguistics; she is currently working on her first novel.
