    The evening concert series of the 2015 Festival kicked off with singer Eva Ayllón. Ayllón began singing and dancing as a young girl in Lima, carrying on traditions of Afro-Peruvian music: the combination of Andean, Spanish, and African influences, characterized by spirited rhythms. Her impressive international career has earned her six Latin Grammy nominations and the moniker of “Peru’s Tina Turner.”
