During the Community Concert on the last day of the 2015 Folklife Festival, vocalist Rosario Sonia Goyoneche Narciso led the Afro-Peruvian group Tutuma. She sang “Negro Libre,” a tribute to the history of Afro-Peruvians descended from enslaved Africans.
