The Catalonia: Tradition and Creativity from the Mediterranean program has collaborated with La Xarxa, a radio and television network based in Catalonia, on a series of short videos that showcase stories about Catalan culture, created especially for our Festival audience.

Until you hear the beat of the drum and feel the heat of the fire in person, it is difficult to understand the power of the Patum de Berga. This annual festivity takes place near the geographical center of Catalonia over five days and into the nights. Although hundreds of tourists attend, the Patum retains its special significance and place in the lives of Berguedans. El programa Catalunya: Tradició i creativitat del Mediterrani ha col·laborat amb La Xarxa, una cadena de ràdio i televisió catalanes, en una sèrie de videos curts que mostren històries sobre la cultura catalana creats per al públic del Festival.

Fins que no sents el redoblar el tabal i l'escalfor del foc ben aprop és difícil entendre la màgia de la Patum. Aquesta festivitat anual té lloc al centre geogràfic de Catalunya durant cinc dies i cinc nits. Tot i que molts turistes hi assiteixen, la Patum manté el seu significat i lloc especial en els cors dels Berguedans.
