Taking part in the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, both as a visitor and a participant, can be a life-changing experience.

This fall, Smithsonian photographer Narek Harutyunyan and his team checked in with several artisans from the Armenia: Creating Home program. In this short film, they share their stories, starting with their involvement in the My Armenia Program, leading up to the Folklife Festival, and looking ahead as they return to their homes and communities across Armenia.
