The Republic of Tuva, in Russia’s southern Siberian steppes, presents a rich mosaic of unique vocal and instrumental music. Musicians Ayana Samiyaevna Mongush, Said Chüldük, Angchy Tamdyn and Aldar Konstantinovich Tamdyn demonstrate a variety of stringed instruments and modes of throat singing.
