This installment of Festival Audio features a conversation with two returned Peace Corps volunteers: Jimmy Schneidewind, who served in Mozambique from 2007 to 2009 in HIV/AIDS and health education, and Yung-Mei Haloski, who served in China from 1997 to 1999 as a university English teacher. In this discussion about “What Peace Corps Volunteers Do,” Schneidewind and Haloski share stories about their primary and secondary projects, interactions with their Peace Corps communities, and the challenges of life in the Peace Corps.
