Blending the traditional Comcaac language, Seri, with the modernity of rock and roll, the Mexican band Hamac Caziim engages the crowd at the 2010 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. Hamac Caziim's lead vocalist, Francisco Molina, give insight into his Comcaac culture, the creation of his band and the importance of music to multi-cultural communication. They perform in their tribe's native language to engage younger generations while keeping their indigenous Comcaac culture alive.
