Herbalist Liz Beamon will discuss the process of pressure-canning bone broth at home and the importance of food preservation within African American foodways. Beamon is a 2024–2025 Virginia Folklife Apprentice, awarded by the Virginia Folklife Program, learning traditional Virginia foodways.
