Rethinking Tibetan Indentity

In Tibetan refugee settlements in rural South India, we drove for what seemed a short eternity past scattered clusters of whitewashed mud-brick bungalows covered with clay tiles and vast stretches of cleared farmland, ready for planting. Along the roadside, wild flowers, red, orange, yellow, grew in profusion.
