From cultivation to consumption, we explore coffee with the UAE and Earth Optimism programs. At this coffee klatch, we learn about Bird Friendly Coffee, a Smithsonian initiative that links coffee growing with conservation science, and we dig into the contemporary culture of this traditional drink in the United Arab Emirates.

Our guests are Oswaldo Acevedo and Angela Maria Ortiz from Cafe Mesa de Los Santos in Colombia, and Safiya Al Maskari from Lest We Forget and Amna Khalid Al Mehairi from the UAE.
