    The Passamaquoddy Wabanaki Indians of northern Maine have gone to great lengths to restore and revitalize the cultural knowledge and traditions of their ancestors. Wayne Newell, a Passamaquoddy elder, illustrates the importance of song, performing with Blanche Sockabasin and dancers.
